Sorry Rebekah, this one is not a keeper. I was yawning by the time I finished flipping through it. The back cover states, "Easy techniques..." and "Simple hand-embroidery stitches that you can master in minutes". Those statements can and should be taken quite literally. WAY too simple and she just rehashed many old ideas. I have a very young GRAND daughter (6 years old at this writing), that can do MUCH of what is being taught in this book. It might be of interest to a very raw beginner. There WAS just one unique idea to me in this book. Honestly? I'm being generous by giving it two stars.

as someone who both sews and does paper crafts, I was interested in what this book had to offer. This book is well done in every respect. Full of color step by step photos, easily attainable materials and easy but classy looking projects make this book a real treat. From cards, to journals to tags this book is a great addition to a crafters library.
